Greetings all, many years ago I showed a simple method of sanding tubes with an inside out sanding belt driven by an electric drill.
I realise this is a very remote chance but would any of the older members have the photos from that thread?
Thanks.

Hi Ed, it was very simple, I turned the sanding belt inside out, slipped it over the tube I wanted to sand and drove it with a skateboard wheel that was locked up with a nut and bolt so it wouldnt spin and held the bolt in the drill chuck.
By keeping outward pressure on the drill it would drive the belt, a little tilt and it would walk up and down the tube removing paint or rust or smoothing out poor welds.
I've done it with wide and narrow belts its so easy and doesnt produce flat spots.

Soooo simple. Who would have thought?...oh yeah! You did. Well done.
Great idea for prepping tubing prior to welding it in place.
In my case with the tubing already fab'ed, I need an external sanding option.
I have a couple of skateboard wheels 'someplace', that I may have a go at trying your idea.
