I have used a jig in several builds , the locust has a single angle jig as the caster was cut into the main boom and the 20/20 and the transportable used a "platform style " jig to build up the front boom ( caster and camber ) before welding the complete cross boom on the main boom . by clamping the tabs /brake arms to a piece of square tube and sitting everything on top it only require a digital vernier to check the heights at each end and everything was square
