I've been looking at wheels and there's a couple of things that I'm not sure of. I'm looking to build a Deltawolf with either 26" or 700c wheels on the back. Now on a donor bike (or a set of wheels) you have a front and back wheel and these often seem to have different amount of spokes and different sized hubs (this might be a problem more with 700c wheels). Obviously I want a pair of wheels that match with the same spoke count and length. Do I have to get 2 front/2 back wheels or am I missing something? Also to save money I want to reuse the spokes off whatever I get, so can I measure the hub size of the wheel and add a small amount so I can widen the hub when I make the flanges and axle? Sorry if these are daft questions! lol
