i imagine its not as bad as on a trike compared to a bike (like the coyote?)?

The wider the angle between the headtube & the bottom bracket, the less pedal steer.
Although not possible, imagine an extreme of 180 degrees.... there would be none at all.

On mine, the angle is pretty extreme, so pedal steer isn't bad at all.
In fact, I can ride it easily without even holding the bars at all! :)

ok so the FARTHER apart the BB and the head tube, the less steer? that sucks...i was wanting to put my BB up high like the Coyote bike featured in the book, for more leverage. Im back to building a 3 wheeler...I actually cut up the first 2 wheeler and am reworking everything.

basically want to build this, but with 20 inch wheels and 1 speed (for now) with a pair of 20 inch wheels in the back, and a shorter (spincycle length) wheelbase. Coyote + Spincycle

MAXIMUM pedal-steer will occur at 90 degrees between headtube & BB.
Pedal steer will decrease as U move away from 90 degrees in EITHER direction.
The more, the better. :)

There is a thread in the home builders section on BROL where they are discussing moving bottom bracket bike and the geometry.
The SpinCycle is a MBB bike or trike and so you may find some useful information there.
