Just purchased a second hand Telwin 152 Mig gas/gasless which will hopefully get me started on my building :)

The gas is a slightly expensive option here in in NZ, although I did find some of the really small argon bottles at a car parts store the other day so might give it a go. Otherwise it will be gasless for a while . At least it's a start.

Cheers all

Colin,

There is nothing wrong with gasless gluing of components.

I use gasless mig all the time, & the beauty of the system is that it can be blowing a gale, & the wind won't blow away your shielding gas.

Hi Peter,

There is nothing wrong with gasless gluing of components.

Thanks for that, I guess practice/patience/persistence are the names of the game.

Can't wait to get started on my Warrior build, I've been gradually gathering stuff together. Those front wheels have been a bit of a challenge - but hey what in life isn't? :rolleyes4:

Colin.
