Found a site that shows how to make a nice set of springer forks.

Hi there

yep been around for a while , but the leading question is ...................

Has anyone built some ?

Where would you go for the springs in the UK ?

Do those plates really have to be 1/4" ?

If so I may do a Brad and make multiples from 1/8" and weld them together

Yes you can. A lot of extra welding and grinding but it will work. I've done it on several different brackets and plates since I saw it here and every time it's worked just fine. Just extra cutting, welding & grinding. But if thats what you got to work with, it seems to be the Zombie way. Good luck. Those a some cool loking forks!

I made my own springers, its not difficult. I dislike the squished tubes on the John brains design so made bearing bottoms.
