How much $. I think what I'm using is rated that many amps (70?), I know I'm runing about the same in voltage.

Laugh all you want at my welder. It still welds just fine. I've got it tuned in now and I'm not burning holes like I used to.:sunny:

I would applaud not laugh Pete. I'm 150% in favour of DIY. More should do it.:rockon:

It's just $60 bucks, I just want to know that it will do the job. Thanks for the advice.

It looks fine for bike building. If you have access to 220V, a 220V welder will be easier to weld with, but this one will do the job. Avoid using an extension cord if at all possible, as it will add resistance.
