G'day Thumper!

Glad to see another Ocker building a Streetfighter!

Your Streetfighter looks sweet!

I am also building a variant of theStretfighter, you can read my thread here
http://forum.atomiczombie.com/showthread.php?t=2901

I will have my secondary gearing finished tomorrow, so should be able to start rebuilding the rear wheels, and attaching my modified front wheels, and then give it a rough cabling for a first test ride, ... downhill from the top of Mt. Lofty :jester:

thanks guys
got a couple more pictures for you
i had trouble with engineering shops so i built the rear disk holders and sprocket holder myself after seeing them on this forum using the bb cup and yes they are very hard steel i ended up buying a new bit for the die grinder and that sorted that out real quick i also used 3/4 nuts and some flat steel and welded them together
and for the front wheels i had some heavy angle iron laying around so i drilled a 14mm hole and welded them to the bench that kept my wheels square to the bench why i played around setting up the center point steering
i used a lincoln 180c single phase mig welder to build my bike highly recommended
im thinking im th only person in Perth with a streetfighter so it should get some attention on the
bike paths

Yep that is a 3/4 axle you can see there I plan on using this off road on gravel roads, I'm also a big fella, I'm going to bring the steering closer to me, also it's a big bike it's around 2.2 meters long and a huge 940mm wide wheel base it looks good with the wide stance, i also used 2 mm tube for extra strength

Yep that is a 3/4 axle you can see there I plan on using this off road on gravel roads, I'm also a big fella...That's what I used on mine too, to standardize it with the KC.
A bonus was the fact that the 3/4 pillow blocks were about a buck apiece cheaper. :taz:

It is good to see someone else makeing one of these fine bikes. It is a real crowd pleaser. Every where I go people are lookin, and taking pictures as I fly bye them. I have a man in New York wanting to buy mine, and is willing to pay me $3,000.00 for mine, plus shipping. I am thinking this over, but I would have to build anothier one for sure if I did, for they are a real blast to ride. I am looking into weather or not I could get my special made 24" wheels or not from a guy in Hamilton, IN So far, he has not returned any e-mail from me. You are going to be so happy with your bike....

Hey Joey,

I think he wants one with an engine. I tried to get him to come here and build one for himself, but he did not go for it. I have given it much thought, to sell my bike, but I am really affraid he would not be able to repair it. Like just the othier day, the exhaust manafold broke right up bye the piston head. It seems I needed to brace my pipe a little bit better than what I have done. And over time the pipe stated to vibrate into. Well, guess he would have been very unhappy with me if it had broke on him, don't you? I think he should build one for himself, that way he could fix any thing that might come up......

Sorry thumper, I am not trying to highjack your thread. Please forgive my intruesion, and spelling..... 8)

gday guys its on the road (of course the brakes and gears are not connected he he)
man it rides great, you would be insane not to put this on your to build list.
i went for a 3km ride and the attention it got was insane, here is a couple of photos for you,
one is with my dad having a test ride, he is 6 feet tall for scale so you can see its a big bike,
it still needs the seat to be upholstered, im hoping to have that done this week, im going black with green stitching
