OK, so here's a question, the forks used to create the rear frame... what degree of pitch should they have? Is a straight fork more or less desirable than a curved fork? I've got em both in my pile, so which should i chop? I have another matched fork for the front seperate from these two...

Hi,

IMHO the curved ones give it a more graceful line and was the way I went on mine.

Be mindful of the chain line, and how close the smallest rear chain ring will get to the fork leg tubing when trying to use a more straight fork.

I began with straight mountain bike forks because they were real heavy, but I messed that up and started over with curved road bike forks and I believe they worked out better for the chain line as suggested below, and they look better too!
