Hey Guys,

I bought the plans and I have a couple questions for now.

Can you tell me what the track width of the delta wolf is as it is in the plans? My guess is that it is around 28"

How far is the rear axle (posterior) measured parallel to the ground behind the top of the seat tube. I know the angle is set at 41 degrees.

The reason for my questions is I may modify the plans a bit and want to know what the basic dimensions are so I know how much i'll have to tweak it.

I was hoping that someone might have have an answer for me regarding the track width. It doesn't have to be precise but I was looking for a ballpark answer.

It depends on how wide you make the rear. If you go with 24", add the width of one wheel, plus 1/4"- 1/2" clearance between the hub and the frame. So if you make the hubs 3 1/2" wide, the track would be 24" + 3 1/2" = 27 1/2", plus the clearance, making it 28- 28 1/2". The Streetfighter has a track of 26" if you build according to the plan, but the hubs are narrower.

Thanks for the reply.

I was thinking about making the track width about 30-32" so I would have more lateral stability. It looks as if I would have to make the bottom part of the frame around 27" inches. My shoulders are 22" wide so I would add 3" to the frame based on what the plans call for.

Does that sound right?

MY DW frame is 28-inches wide with a track of 32-inches using hubs measuring 3 and 1/2-inches each.

Hope this helps..........Richie >>
