View Full Version : Could it possibly be? After 11 months?

The rain finally stopped today, so I jumped back on the Kroozer, & pretty much wrapped it up, after 11 FREAKIN' MONTHS!!!
All that remains is to add wheel reflectors, a couple more reflectors on the rear of the frame, & black the tires...

She's a stubby... nearly a foot shorter than the original!
Here's all of the pics (in order) from primer to completion: http://joeywallace.spaces.live.com/photos/cns!9D0D4DF6F50AAFC2!1922/?&_c02_vws=1

Absolutely awesome Joey.

I really like the canopy. Now you can be the surry with the fringe on top. :)

Reminds me a bit of this one my wife snapped in New Zealand.

Can't see it in the pic but it had a fringed canopy too.

What did you do change to shorten the cruiser?

Joey, You da man! I just can't help but think that maybe you have some of those little Keebler elves or some such stashed in those woods. If I promise to take real good care of them, can I barrow them one weekend?

Excellent, as usual!

Nice Kruzer, Joey.
Hey where did you get the seats? I need something like that for my Street Fox. They look like the old Actionbent seats but I thought they were no longer available.

A name change is in order!!!!..

Sir AWSOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations, my friend, it's been a long time coming! We are all very proud of you! The kroozer is fantastic! Coupled to the trailer makes an awsome combination vehicle.

Oh, Yeah...
The rearview mirror and dice are a classic touch!

That is a sweet ride, Sir. Did you run into any problems from shortening it? I'm getting ready to start cutting tubing for mine this week and am definitely considering the "Sir Awesome" treatment for mine.

Another excellent machine spawned from "The Magic Bus".
You've raised the bar again, Joey.

And it's got all the 'fixins'......headlights, taillights, speedometer, reflectors, rear view mirror, horn, flag, cooler/trailer, drink holders, 8-ball valve stem caps and mirror ornament, fringe, adjustable seats, name decals and fuzzy dice. You didn't leave out anything (except a radio & DVD player)..!!

I can just picture you and Mom out for a nice Sunday cruise. :)

Ride on, bud.....!!

PS....What are the 4 large eyehooks front and back for??

Thanx, guys! Your generous compliments are much appreciated!

Locutus, they ARE the old-style ActionBent seats, & yep, they're discontinued, old sold-out stock. I bought 5 of 'em last year, & they gave me a 6th one free, although it was a blem, but hey, I'm not kickin'. So far, I have one on the Deltoyd, one on the Trixter, one on that disastrous Alien thing I built a few months ago, & two on this thing.

TheDude, thanx, & no, no probs shortening it, but caution is advised. If you get it TOO short, you're skrood. I used my DW as a guideline, & ended up with it being about perfect, right down to the inch. My pedals BARELY clear the inside of the frame, & as you can see, the back of my seat is even with the rear of the frame. Also steepened the headtube angle by 5 degrees, which shortens the overall length just a tad more, as well as reducing trail & wheel flop. The downside of the short frame though, is since there's no frame left over behind the seats, there's nowhere to put a cargo box. Something to keep in mind, unless you plan on dragging a trailer everywhere.

Thanx, Richie! Most kind of you to notice all of my little goodies! Worked really hard on this one! The 8-ball decorations signify this as my 8th completed build.

Anticipating the possibility of some SERIOUS "Kroozing", I went with a full compliment of lights this time; the usual twin tail lights, plus a "cyclops" tail light at the top, for a total of 3 on the rear, as well as twin headlights this time.

The rear view mirror is from my truck that I totalled last year. I saved it just for this, & painted it to match!

The beefy eye-bolts at each corner, are for convenient locking points without risk of paint damage. To prevent potential thieves from simply unbolting them, the back-side nuts are welded on, but nothing is actually welded to the trike itself, so if I ever wish to remove them, I can simply grind off the weld, & they'll come off without so much as even scarring the paint. I just masked 'em off, when I painted the frame. I've also installed 'em on the rear of the Trixter, as part of the recent "upgrade", as well as one on the front of each trailer, to fascilitate locking the trailers & trikes TOGETHER, as well:

Besides that, Richie, they look kool, & they make people like you, ask what they're for! ;)

Now, if only I had someone to "Krooze" with! :(

SJ Had to show you this that my brother sent me . This guy had the fuzzy dice first. I'm not sure where the mirror is. Not far away I would think!
