Thanks rick that should be a big help, I m still getting used to me flux core welder, I lerned on an old stick miller. I have also done some oxy welding, this wire feed thing is new to me. The fact that I havent welded in 15+ years doesnt help eather.

Glad to help. Just grab some scrap metal and practice a lot. It just takes a bit of time to get used to coordinating everything and getting all the settings on the welder just right. I've done some wire feed welding but I prefer TIG (GTAW) welding. It took me about ten hours to get good at welding aluminum. I plan on TIG welding the steel frame of my trike. I live in the Bay Area and am lucky to have access to all sorts of equipment. Spoiled rotten :)
